Learn the CLT score required - and other requirements for Florida Bright Futures!
To qualify for Florida Academic Scholars, which covers 100% of tuition at public universities in Florida, you need to score at least 95 out of 120 on the CLT.
To qualify for the Florida Medallion Scholars award, which covers 75% of tuition, you need to score an 82 or higher on the CLT.
Take 16 High School College-Preparatory Course Credits (4 English, 4 Mathematics, 3 Natural Science, 3 Social Science, 2 World Language)
Have a High School GPA of 3.5 or higher
Score a 95 or higher on the CLT (or, score a 29+ on the ACT or a 1330+ on the SAT)
Have a total of 100 hours combined Volunteer and Work Hours.
You must also be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
You must enroll as a degree or certificate-seeking student at a Florida institution taking at least 6 credit hours.

Score an 82 or higher on the CLT (or, score a 24+ on the ACT or a 1190+ on the SAT)
You must also be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
You must enroll as a degree or certificate-seeking student at a Florida institution taking at least 6 credit hours.
Once you enroll in college or another degree-seeking/certificate-seeking institution, you must do the following to keep your Bright Futures Scholarship:
First, you must earn the amount of credit hours specified by your enrollment type.
Here's what that means: if you enroll as a full-time college student, you must earn at least 12 credit hours per semester.
If you enroll as a part-time student at a college, you must earn 6 credit hours per semester.
Next, to keep your Florida Academic Scholars Award - which covers full tuition - you must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
To keep your Florida Medallion Scholars Award, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
